Virginia Man Arrested for Fatally Stabbing Dog During Walk

Reyan Hassan Ibrahim, out on bail for unrelated charges, now faces animal cruelty charges after witnesses led to his arrest.

Reyan Hassan Ibrahim, 25, was arrested for allegedly fatally stabbing a dog that was out on a walk with its owner in Falls Church, Virginia.
The dog, named Lucy, was euthanized due to severe injuries from the stabbing. No humans were injured in the incident.
Witnesses at the scene provided police with Ibrahim's license plate number, leading to his arrest near Dulles International Airport.
Ibrahim, who was out on bail for an unrelated charge of destruction of property, is now facing charges of animal cruelty, malicious wounding, and destruction of property.
Ibrahim is currently being held at the Loudoun County detention facility and is expected to be extradited to Falls Church to face charges.
