Virginia Man Arrested After Abduction Ends in Fatal Crash

A 1-year-old girl has died following a high-speed pursuit across state lines involving an AMBER Alert for three children.

Dana Plummer, 36, allegedly stabbed the children's mother before abducting them from Virginia Beach.
An AMBER Alert was issued for the three children, aged 7, 5, and 1, leading to a police pursuit.
The chase ended in Maryland when Plummer lost control of the vehicle, resulting in a crash.
The 1-year-old girl succumbed to her injuries at the hospital; the other two children and Plummer are in stable condition.
Plummer faces multiple charges including aggravated malicious wounding, parental abduction, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
