• The limited pilot lets eligible economy passengers bid to keep the adjacent seat empty on specific domestic and short‑haul international services.
• Initial availability covers eight routes: Melbourne–Adelaide, Melbourne–Sydney, Brisbane–Sydney, Brisbane–Cairns, Melbourne–Perth, Sydney–Perth, Brisbane–Samoa, and Melbourne–Bali.
• Only bookings with one or two passengers can participate, a maximum of one extra seat per booking is allowed, and Economy X and Business are excluded.
• The option provides extra personal space only and does not include additional baggage allowance.
