Virgin Atlantic Puts HeathrowSeoul Flights Back on Sale for March 2026 Launch

The launch uses Heathrow slots released under the Korean AirAsiana merger remedy, with a three-year service requirement to retain them.

Overview

  • Daily service begins 29 March 2026 with a published schedule of 9:45am departure from Heathrow arriving 6:05am next day in Seoul and 8:35am departure from Incheon arriving 3:05pm in London.
  • Block times run over 12 hours eastbound and roughly 14 hours westbound due to routings that avoid Russian airspace.
  • Flights will use Boeing 787-9 aircraft in a 258-seat layout with 31 business, 35 premium economy, and 192 economy seats.
  • Tickets are on sale with economy fares from £799, and the route returns to sale after an earlier suspension linked to paperwork in South Korea.
  • Through SkyTeam partner Korean Air, customers gain connections across Northeast Asia and Oceania, and Virgin Points reward seats are now bookable though Upper Class availability is scarce.
