Bhawna Kohli clarifies that the child in widely shared images from the India-Australia Test match is not Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's son.

Virat Kohli's sister, Bhawna Kohli Dhingra, stated on Instagram that the child in viral photos from the Perth Test match is not Akaay, the nine-month-old son of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma.
The child in the images, widely misidentified as Akaay, is confirmed to be the daughter of a family friend of the Kohli-Sharma family.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have consistently maintained their children's privacy, refraining from sharing their faces on social media and requesting the same from the media and paparazzi.
The couple welcomed their second child, Akaay, in February 2024, following their first child, Vamika, born in 2021.
Despite the photo confusion, Kohli celebrated a remarkable 30th Test century during the match, dedicating his performance to his wife, Anushka, who was present in the stands.
