Overview
- An Instagram video posted by Shailendra Yadav shows his father carefully reading Yadav’s offer letter from Amazon.
- Yadav identifies himself in coverage as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon with the title SDE-II.
- Text over the clip reads “People will see this moment. They won't see the years behind it,” and “No shortcuts, no privilege, just his sacrifices converted into my success.”
- The overlay adds that the father lacked access to good formal education yet worked to secure better opportunities for his son.
- Hindustan Times says it has asked Yadav for more details and will update, and Financial Express notes it has not independently verified the background claims.
