Overview

• The pact keeps Gilligan at Sony under his High Bridge banner to develop and produce scripted series for all platforms.
• Sony studio chief Katherine Pope praised Gilligan in announcing the renewal, and he said he is proud to remain at what he called Hollywood’s last independent studio.
• Pluribus, a nine-episode drama starring Rhea Seehorn, will debut with two episodes on Nov. 7 followed by weekly installments through Dec. 26.
• The series is produced by Sony and executive produced by Gilligan alongside Gordon Smith, Alison Tatlock, Diane Mercer, Allyce Ozarski and Jeff Frost, with Jenn Carroll and Trina Siopy as co-executive producers.
• The new pact extends a relationship that began with a 2002 script deal and an exclusive overall agreement signed in 2009 after Breaking Bad launched.
