• At Fuel Fest in Pomona on June 28, Diesel confirmed that Universal has targeted April 2027 for the final Fast & Furious installment.
• He agreed to the release window only after securing three creative conditions: relocating production to Los Angeles, refocusing on street racing culture and reuniting Dom with Brian O’Conner.
• Diesel said Brian O’Conner will reappear, noting that Paul Walker’s character must be digitally or archivally recreated to make the reunion possible.
• Brian’s farewell in 2015’s Furious 7 combined body doubles, archival footage and CGI to complete Walker’s scenes, establishing a precedent for digital resurrection.
