Villanova Secures Dominant 72-48 Win Over Rider

Villanova bounced back from a narrow loss to Maryland with a decisive 72-48 victory over Rider at home on Wednesday night.
Eric Dixon led the Wildcats with 16 points, five assists, and three steals, while Jhamir Brickus added 15 points, converting five of seven three-point attempts.
Villanova's defense forced 17 Rider turnovers, converting them into 26 points, and held the Broncs to 30.4% turnover rate on possessions.
A 13-0 run late in the first half helped Villanova establish a commanding 36-20 halftime lead, which they extended to as much as 29 points in the second half.
The win marks Villanova's fourth home victory this season, setting up their next game against No. 16 Cincinnati on December 3 as part of the Big East-Big battle.
