• Russia’s Hydrometcenter expects lows as cold as –5°C in the Ivanovo, Kostroma, and Yaroslavl regions and about –4°C in the Moscow region in the coming nights.
• Forecasters also project frost reaching parts of the Central Federal District’s south, including the Tambov, Voronezh, and Kursk regions.
• In the Moscow area, the latest outlook puts overnight temperatures around –4 to +1°C in the suburbs and –1 to +1°C in the city.
• The shift follows the first freezes reported in the capital’s region at the end of September, with –1.9°C in Cherusti and an earlier autumn low of –6.2°C there.
• Daytime conditions remain comparatively mild and dry, with Phobos forecasting highs near 10–13°C through Saturday and a turn to rain starting Sunday.
