Overview
- Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated the school innovation drive and called it a movement to encourage real-world problem solving.
- Over 3 lakh schools held synchronized tinkering sessions today, with Classes 6–12 participating in teams guided by a teacher mentor.
- Students are building prototypes under four themes: Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi, Vocal for Local, and Samriddh Bharat.
- Entries must be submitted between October 13 and 31 via the official portals, including a 2–5 minute video demonstrating each project.
- Higher education institutions and mentor networks are mapped to schools for on-site guidance, and a ₹1 crore prize pool will be awarded across district, state and national tiers after expert evaluation in November–December, with results in January 2026.
