Team's Resilience Tested as Vikings Go 4-0 in Jefferson's Absence

Minnesota Vikings' star wide receiver Justin Jefferson will miss the upcoming game against the New Orleans Saints due to a hamstring injury, despite returning to practice in a limited capacity earlier this week.
Jefferson, who was placed on injured reserve after exiting the Oct. 8 game against the Chiefs, has been out for at least four games and is expected to miss a fifth consecutive contest.
Before his injury, Jefferson had a strong start to the season, recording 571 receiving yards through five games, with a yards-per-game average of 114.2, the highest of his career.
In Jefferson's absence, rookie Jordan Addison has stepped up, producing 534 receiving yards and seven touchdowns this year, and is expected to lead the wide receiver corps in the game against the Saints.
Despite losing Jefferson and quarterback Kirk Cousins, the Vikings have gone 4-0 during Jefferson's absence, improving their record from 1-4 to 5-4, with a chance to enter their Week 12 bye on a six-game winning streak if they can beat the Saints and Broncos over the next two weeks.
