Overview

• Officers found a bag with 6.54 kg of gold packed in 136 packets and ₹41.04 lakh in cash in an abandoned building in Hulajanti village, Solapur district.
• Investigators had earlier traced the getaway car to Hulajanti within 90 minutes of the robbery and recovered 21 gold packets and about ₹1.03 lakh from the vehicle.
• Police say the suspects’ car hit a bike in Hulajanti, a quarrel ensued, and the men fled after threatening villagers with guns and knives.
