  • The 15th Papanoelada, regarded as Galicia’s oldest Santa-themed ride, rolled through Vigo on Saturday after a weather postponement from December 20.
  • Organizer Marcos Portela of Motoclub Galicia estimated around 6,000 vehicles took part, topping recent editions.
  • A donation point opened in Navia at 11:00, with riders asked to contribute one kilogram of nonperishable food for the Banco de Alimentos.
  • For safety, tossing candies or plush toys from vehicles was banned, and the event began with a brief static procession for families.
  • The route started and ended in Navia, passing key streets including Avenida de Castelao, Plaza de América, Gran Vía, and Venezuela.
