Overview
- The seventh Vigo SeaFest opened on Thursday, July 9 and runs through July 12 across the Jardines de Montero Ríos, Elduayen and the Náutico area.
- Fourteen paired chef-operated casetas offer tapas and seafood creations alongside separate crepe, pastry and cocktail areas for visitors to sample.
- A juried competition led by Michelin-starred chef Manuel Costiña has begun visiting the casetas as part of the Fish & Beer contest that evaluates chef proposals.
- The program pairs showcooking and children's workshops with music, DJs and nautical sports such as artistic swimming, water-polo and sailing baptisms.
- ARVI, backed by technical partner ANFACO-CYTMA, aims to boost fish consumption, give local restaurants visibility and introduce less-common species to the public.
