• The 44th Vancouver International Film Festival runs October 2–12 with 170 features and 100 shorts programmed.
• The footprint expands to 13 screens across 10 venues, adding Granville Island Stage and the Alliance Française, with organizers preparing for more than 110,000 attendees.
