Vietnamese Sailor Survives 20 Hours at Sea After Falling Overboard

A young sailor was miraculously rescued off Australia's coast after drifting unnoticed in the open ocean for nearly a day.

The sailor, in his twenties, fell from the cargo ship 'Double Delight' near Newcastle, Australia, late Thursday night.
His fall went unnoticed until a headcount on the ship revealed he was missing, prompting a large-scale search by authorities.
The sailor was discovered by chance on Friday evening by a recreational angler who was also a doctor, five kilometers from the coast.
Despite being severely hypothermic and exhausted, the sailor was conscious and able to communicate when rescued.
Authorities are investigating whether the sailor's fall was accidental or intentional, as he was found with a life jacket and personal items in a plastic bag.
