Overview
- NDAChain is a Layer 1 permissioned blockchain developed by the National Data Association and managed by the Ministry of Public Security’s Data Innovation and Exploitation Center
- The network runs on 49 validator nodes operated by state agencies and major enterprises, using Proof-of-Authority consensus enhanced with Zero-Knowledge Proofs to secure up to 3,600 transactions per second
- Core modules NDA DID and NDATrace are now active, linking digital identity verification to Vietnam’s VNeID system and providing GS1-compliant product traceability compatible with the EU’s EBSI
- Officials plan to complete full integration into the National Data Center by the end of 2025 and extend the platform to local governments and universities through 2026
- An open-architecture framework invites startups and private firms to develop tailored digital services on NDAChain, aiming to build a vibrant public-private ecosystem
