Video Surfaces of Conservative Party Breaking Lockdown Rules During 2020 Christmas Party

New footage shows multiple Conservative Party staffers attending an indoor gathering with alcohol in December 2020, defying pandemic restrictions in place at the time.
The party was organized by staff members of Shaun Bailey's unsuccessful London mayoral campaign and held at the Conservative Campaign Headquarters.
At least 24 people attended the party, including two staffers recently given honors by former Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
The Conservative Party has disciplined four CCHQ staff members involved but apologized for the "unauthorized social gathering."
The news comes amid the ongoing "Partygate" scandal surrounding Boris Johnson and other government officials breaking lockdown rules.
