Video of Julio Urías' Domestic Violence Incident Released

Footage shows the former Dodgers pitcher assaulting his wife outside an LAFC game in 2023, leading to his arrest and ongoing MLB investigation.

Julio Urías was seen on video pushing his wife into a fence and swinging at her outside BMO Stadium after an LAFC match in September 2023.
Urías was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence but later pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor domestic battery charge in May 2024.
He was sentenced to 36 months probation, 30 days of community labor, and a 52-week domestic violence counseling course.
Major League Baseball placed Urías on administrative leave and is still investigating, which could result in him becoming the first player suspended twice under the league’s domestic violence policy.
Urías, a former World Series champion and Cy Young contender, has not been signed by any team since becoming a free agent after the 2023 season.
