Azarenka is one of eight mothers in the main draw at the 2024 Australian Open, a fact she is excited about, and she spoke about how women tennis players have broken the stereotype that athletes cannot also birth and raise children.
She believes there is still room for growth in the sport to make athletes feel more secure and comfortable at all levels, not just the top level, especially after childbirth.
Azarenka is passionate about supporting her son in his own sporting pursuits and has spoken about how she tries to be a positive and supportive presence for him.
After her first round victory at the Australian Open, Azarenka wrote a message to her son on the camera saying, 'Hi Leo, love you! Mom.'
