Kaushal underwent a rigorous physical transformation, gaining 25 kilograms and training for seven months to prepare for the role.
A controversial lezim dance scene was removed from the film following objections from political leaders, including Raj Thackeray, after discussions with the director.
The actor endured intense challenges during filming, including a sequence requiring his arms to be tied overnight, leading to temporary numbness and a 1.5-month recovery break.
