Vice President Radhakrishnan Begins Two-Day Visit to Puducherry, Kerala and Tamil Nadu
The trip blends project inaugurations with cultural and academic engagements across three southern centres.
Overview
- He arrives in Puducherry at 10:05 a.m. for a government-hosted civic reception at Kamban Kalaiarangam.
- He will inaugurate a Smart City Mission housing project at Kumaraguru Pallam and hand over keys to five beneficiaries before meeting them at the site.
- He will unveil the Bharathiar statue at the Bharathiar Memorial on Eswaran Koil Street and open the Senior Secondary Block of Petit Seminar School in Moolakulam.
- He will serve as chief guest at Pondicherry University’s 30th convocation and deliver the address before departing for Thiruvananthapuram.
- On December 30 he will attend the Sivagiri Pilgrimage in Varkala, inaugurate the Platinum Jubilee public meeting of Mar Ivanios College in Thiruvananthapuram, and preside over the Kashi–Tamil Sangamam 4.0 valedictory in Rameswaram, as Puducherry officials have reviewed arrangements to minimize disruption.
