VfL Wolfsburg Signs Danish National Defender Mads Roerslev on Loan

The Bundesliga club strengthens its roster with a second Danish addition this winter to fill the gap left by Ridle Baku's transfer to RB Leipzig.

Mads Roerslev, a 25-year-old Danish national team player, joins VfL Wolfsburg on loan from Premier League club Brentford until the end of the season.
Roerslev is the second Danish player signed by Wolfsburg this winter, following the acquisition of Andreas Skov Olsen.
The two new Danish signings are expected to bolster Wolfsburg's right flank after Ridle Baku's departure to RB Leipzig.
Wolfsburg now has four Danish players in its squad, including Jonas Wind and Joakim Maehle.
Sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz praised Roerslev as a versatile and experienced defender with significant potential for further development.
