Veteran Malayalam Actor Meghanathan Passes Away at 60 Due to Lung Illness

Meghanathan, a prominent figure in Malayalam cinema, passed away at a private hospital in Kozhikode early Thursday morning.
The actor was the third child of legendary actor Balan K Nair and Sarada Nair, and he followed in his father's footsteps with a career spanning over three decades.
He appeared in more than 50 films, including notable works like 'Panchagni,' 'Chamayam,' and 'Ee Puzhayum Kadannu,' often portraying memorable antagonist roles.
In addition to his film career, Meghanathan was a familiar face on television, acting in popular serials such as 'Sthreetvam' and 'Meghasandesham.'
The funeral is scheduled to take place at his residence in Shoranur, with tributes pouring in from fans and colleagues in the film industry.
