Veteran Film Executive Jim Tauber Dies at 74

Jim Tauber, a prominent figure in the film industry, passed away on Wednesday due to complications from multiple myeloma at the age of 74.
Tauber held leadership roles at major entertainment companies, including Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, Anonymous Content, Propaganda Films, and Columbia TriStar Pictures.
He oversaw acclaimed films such as 'Hell or High Water,' 'Lars and the Real Girl,' 'The Place Beyond the Pines,' and 'Being John Malkovich.'
After retiring from the film industry in 2015, Tauber became a licensed psychotherapist and co-founded Lefty’s Coffee in 2022 with his wife, Laura Newman.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, and sister, with a private funeral planned and a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
