• Veteran entertainment executive Lew Rothman, known for his roles at The Weinstein Co. and Strategy PR, died unexpectedly at his home in East Hampton, New York.
• Rothman was instrumental in bridging the gap between entertainment and technology, having co-founded Vibemaster, a new media consultancy, and CASTNET, the first online commercial casting company.
• He served as the Chief Technology Officer for The Weinstein Co. for over a decade and later joined Strategy PR/Consulting in 2016 as head of business affairs and operations.
• Rothman was also known for his personal interests, including building furniture, working on sculptures with his wife, and being a lover of dogs.
• A celebration of Rothman's life will take place at The Jewish Center of the Hamptons on January 5th.
