Lee's six-decade career spanned theater, film, and television, with notable performances in productions like 'Death of a Salesman,' 'Macbeth,' and the acclaimed 2016 film 'Train to Busan.'
She previously overcame a 13-year battle with stage 4 breast cancer after being diagnosed in 1993 and given a one-year prognosis at the time.
A funeral service for Lee Joo-sil is scheduled for February 5, 2025, at Severance Hospital in Sinchon, Seoul, as confirmed by her talent agency, 1230Culture.
