Veteran Actor Ravikumar Menon Passes Away at 71 in Chennai

The Tamil and Malayalam film and television icon succumbed to cancer, leaving behind a legacy of over 100 roles across decades.

Ravikumar Menon died on April 4, 2025, at Prashanth Hospital in Velachery, Chennai, after battling cancer.
His death was confirmed by his son, and fans have been sharing tributes on social media.
Born in Thrissur, Kerala, to film producer KMK Menon and actor Bharathi Menon, he made his debut in 1967 with Indulekha.
Menon’s career spanned over 100 films and television shows, with notable roles in Ullasa Yaathra, Avalude Ravukal, and Tamil serials like Vani Rani.
His final rites will be held in Chennai over the weekend, with his body currently at his residence in Valasaravakkam.
