Veteran Actor Jack Axelrod Dies at 93

Known for Roles in 'General Hospital' and 'Grey's Anatomy', Axelrod Also Taught Theater at Several Universities

Veteran actor Jack Axelrod, known for his roles in 'General Hospital' and 'Grey's Anatomy', has passed away at the age of 93 from natural causes.
Axelrod, who began his acting career while studying architecture, also had notable roles in 'My Name Is Earl', 'Dallas', 'Dynasty', and 'Modern Family'.
Before his acting career, Axelrod served as a corporal in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany from 1953 to 1955.
In addition to his acting career, Axelrod taught theater at several universities and was a guest teacher at the Aaron Speiser Acting Studio in Los Angeles.
His last film credit was in the 2020 film 'Bad Therapy', after which he retired from acting.
