Versova Police Book Two in Alleged Sale of Vikram Bhatt’s Raw-Footage Disks

The case stems from a complaint by the production manager over months of missing raw-footage disks.

  • An FIR was registered on October 10 after VSB Production LLP’s production manager, Nasir Khan, approached Versova police.
  • The case names Jitendra Sharma and account manager Rakesh Pranigrahi over missing office hard disks and company mobile phones.
  • According to the FIR, disks containing raw movie footage had been disappearing from the Andheri West office since March 2025.
  • A statement recorded in the FIR alleges Sharma sold up to 10 disks to a buyer identified as Ashok Krush for Rs 5,000–6,000 each, with a share of proceeds for Pranigrahi.
  • After being asked to return the disks, Sharma stopped reporting to work and switched off his phone, Pranigrahi also stayed away and did not return company phones, and the investigation is ongoing.
