Overview
- The farmhouse blast on 14 October 2025 killed three Carabinieri—Marco Piffari, Valerio Daprà and Davide Bernardello—and wounded about 25 other officers and firefighters.
- On 30 October 2026 the Procura di Verona opened a file against commanders Vincenzo Spataro, Antonio Sframeli and Claudio Papagno for alleged multiple negligent homicide.
- The three officers are also subject to a separate disciplinary procedure by the Procura Generale over planning and conduct of the raid and the next disciplinary session is set for 15 January 2027.
