Verona and Catanzaro Draw 2-2 at Bentegodi

Overview

• The match finished 2-2 at Stadio Bentegodi on Friday, October 16, with Sig. Perri of Rome the referee and live coverage on DAZN and Prime Video’s LaB Channel.
• Verona forward Mosquera scored twice to level the game for the hosts while Catanzaro goals came from Candela and Pecorino, the latter from the penalty spot.
• The result moved Hellas Verona up to eight points and raised no immediate momentum from home for Marco Baroni, while Catanzaro climbed to four points and stopped a run of seven losses in eight league games.
• Both coaches remain under scrutiny because the draw did not resolve form concerns for either side and leaves short-term pressure on Marco Baroni and Giorgio Gorgone.
• The fixture was the teams’ first Serie B meeting in over 20 years and highlights Serie B’s current broadcast model, with matches carried on subscription streaming platforms DAZN and Prime Video.
