Vermont Man Pleads Not Guilty to Triple Family Murder

Brian Crossman Jr. faces charges for the fatal shootings of his father, stepmother, and stepbrother in Pawlet.

Brian Crossman Jr., 23, was arrested in New York and extradited to Vermont to face three counts of aggravated murder.
The victims, Brian Crossman Sr., Erica Crossman, and Colin Taft, were found dead in their Pawlet home on September 15.
Autopsies revealed that two of the victims died from gunshot wounds, suggesting a violent attack.
Crossman Jr. reported the killings and claimed he was covered in blood from attempting to move his father's body.
He is currently held without bail pending a hearing on whether he should remain detained through trial.
