Overview
- Following a recount of 51 packages, the TEV recognized Janeth Adanely Rodríguez (Morena-PVEM) as winner in Poza Rica with 14,823 votes to 14,304 for MC’s Emilio Olvera, a 519-vote margin.
- The tribunal annulled two polling stations for irregularities and documented gender-based political violence against the Morena candidate, which it said did not change the result.
- The TEV ordered the OPLE to issue a new constancia de mayoría to Rodríguez within 24 hours.
- In the same session, the TEV also reversed outcomes in Ilamatlán, Chicontepec and Chontla, and it ratified winners in Papantla and Boca del Río.
- MC leaders accused Governor Rocío Nahle of pressuring the court and supporters protested during Independence Day events, while Emilio Olvera said he will appeal to the Sala Regional Xalapa and may seek further review.
