Venezuelan National Charged with Sexual Assault of Minor in Virginia

A 32-year-old Venezuelan national illegally in the U.S. has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old in Virginia, amid rising concerns over crimes by illegal immigrants.

Renzo Mendoza Montes, a 32-year-old Venezuelan national, was arrested on two felony charges related to the sexual assault of a minor.
The assault occurred in January, with the victim being a 14-year-old female in Campbell County, Virginia.
Mendoza was previously detained and released by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol in El Paso, Texas, in September 2023.
This arrest comes as violent crimes by illegal immigrants, including assaults and murders, are reportedly on the rise in the U.S.
