- The recall covers 12-count cartons and 30-count flats marked with handler code 2136 and sell-by dates of Dec. 22, 2025, or earlier, or Julian dates of 328 or earlier.
- About 1,515 dozen eggs were affected, with distribution to stores, restaurants and farmers’ markets in the Sacramento and Davis areas, generally within about 25 miles of the Dixon farm.
- Vega Farms says possible exposure occurred during processing, while the farm’s flocks remain unaffected.
