VCIOM Poll: 80.8% of Russians Trust Putin as United Russia Leads Party Preferences

Published December 5, the late-November VCIOM telephone poll of 1,600 adults reports a maximum 1% margin of error.

  • The Russian government’s work was approved by 47.8% of respondents, and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin registered 60.2% trust with 50.1% approval.
  • If a State Duma vote were held next Sunday, support stood at 34.1% for United Russia, 10.5% for LDPR, 9.5% for the CPRF, 8.4% for New People, and 5.1% for SR–Patriots–For Truth.
  • Fieldwork ran November 24–30 using random-mobile telephone interviews of 1,600 adults, and United Russia’s rating edged up 0.6 points compared with the prior week.
