Varun Dhawan’s Action Thriller 'Baby John' Now Streaming on Amazon Prime Video

The film, a remake of Atlee's Tamil hit 'Theri,' struggled at the box office but aims to find a wider audience on OTT platforms.

'Baby John,' starring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi, is now available for Amazon Prime Video subscribers worldwide.
The film, directed by Kalees, is an adaptation of the 2016 Tamil blockbuster 'Theri' and features Dhawan as DCP Satya Verma, a man leading a dual life to protect his daughter.
Released theatrically on December 25, 2024, the movie failed to perform commercially, earning only ₹61 crore against a reported budget of over ₹150 crore.
Despite its box office underperformance, the film highlights intense action sequences, emotional themes, and a star-studded cast including Jackie Shroff and a cameo by Salman Khan.
Varun Dhawan described the project as a career milestone, emphasizing the physical and emotional challenges of the role and his collaboration with director Atlee.
