Varada Sethu to Replace Millie Gibson in 'Doctor Who' Season 15

Gibson's departure comes after just one season, with Sethu set to join Ncuti Gatwa in the upcoming season currently being filmed in Wales.

Millie Gibson, who debuted as Ruby Sunday in the 2023 Christmas Special of 'Doctor Who', is set to exit the show after only one season.
Varada Sethu, known for her roles in 'Andor' and 'Jurassic World Dominion', will replace Gibson as the new companion in the 15th season of 'Doctor Who'.
The decision to replace Gibson was reportedly made by showrunner Russell T Davies, and Gibson will not appear in the 2024 Christmas special.
Despite Gibson's departure, Ncuti Gatwa, who plays the Fifteenth Doctor, will continue his role in the show.
Season 15 of 'Doctor Who' is currently being filmed in Wales and is expected to premiere in spring 2025.
