Vanguard Opens Global Value Centre in Hyderabad Focused on Cloud, AI and Cybersecurity

State leaders cast the facility as a catalyst for Hyderabad’s push to add 120 GCCs, creating roughly 1.2 lakh jobs.

  • Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu formally inaugurated the centre, with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka in attendance.
  • The hub will focus on engineering excellence, cloud modernisation, data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and cybersecurity, with collaborative labs to speed innovation across digital platforms.
  • Vanguard executives said the Hyderabad site builds on a decade of regional collaboration and will play a vital role in advancing innovation in support of the firm’s mission.
  • With Vanguard’s entry, Hyderabad now hosts seven top global asset managers that together oversee more than $30 trillion in assets.
  • The state invited Vanguard to collaborate with universities and research centres and to consider a campus at the planned Bharat Future City as part of its broader expansion drive for Global Capability Centres.
