Vanessa Bryant Marks 24th Anniversary of Meeting Kobe with Throwback Photo

The commemoration comes as plans continue for a statue honoring Kobe Bryant at the L.A. Lakers arena in 2024.

Vanessa Bryant commemorated the 24th anniversary of her first meeting with her late husband, Kobe Bryant, by sharing a nostalgic photo from their early days together.
The photo was taken on the set of a music video in 1999, where they first met.
Vanessa Bryant frequently honors her late husband and daughter, Gianna, who both died in a helicopter crash in 2020, by sharing old photos and hosting events in their memory.
A statue in Kobe Bryant's honor is set to be unveiled outside the L.A. Lakers arena on Feb. 8, 2024.
Vanessa Bryant also hosted girls' basketball clinics in Los Angeles last month to honor her late daughter Gianna's legacy.
