Vanderbilt Clings to Victory Over Central Arkansas 75-71

  • Ezra Manjon scored 16 points and made 4 of 4 from the free-throw line in the final 24 seconds to help Vanderbilt hold on to beat Central Arkansas 75-71.
  • Colin Smith scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Evan Taylor also scored 14 points and Isaiah West added 12 for Vanderbilt.
  • Daniel Sofield, Masai Olowokere and Javion Guy-King scored 11 points apiece for Central Arkansas and Ubong Abasi Etim added 10 points and 11 rebounds.
  • Vanderbilt played without preseason second-team All-Southeastern Conference guard Tyrin Lawrence as well as forward Ven-Allen Lubin and Lee Dort.
  • Central Arkansas didn't have Camren Hunter, who averaged 16.9 points last season.
