Vande Bharat Train Attacked During Trial Run in Chhattisgarh

Five individuals arrested for pelting stones at the train, causing damage to windows just days before its official launch.

The incident occurred at Bagbahara railway station on Friday night during the train's return from Visakhapatnam to Durg.
No injuries were reported, but the windows of three coaches were damaged.
The accused, all residents of Bagbahara, have been charged under the Railways Act, 1989.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to flag off the Durg-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express on Monday.
Additional Vande Bharat train routes, including India's first Vande Metro, will also be inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
