Vande Bharat Express Launches August 10; IndiGo to Resume Belagavi Flights in September

Overview

  • Prime Minister Modi will flag off the BengaluruBelagavi Vande Bharat Express on August 10, with services beginning August 11 six days a week excluding Wednesdays.
  • After suspending services earlier this year, IndiGo will restart daily New DelhiBelagavi flights from September 16.
  • The airline will resume daily BengaluruBelagavi services from September 21, reconnecting the region to the state capital.
  • IndiGo has broken ground on a major Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul facility at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport to support its expanding fleet.
