Vance Commands GOP Primary as Buttigieg Leads Democrats in 2028 Poll

The survey indicates large undecided blocs in both parties months before 2028 primaries.

Overview

  • Vice President J.D. Vance leads the Republican field with 46 percent support, more than triple Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s 12 percent and far ahead of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s 9 percent.
  • Pete Buttigieg leads Democrats with 16 percent of support, followed by Kamala Harris at 13 percent and Gavin Newsom at 12 percent; Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Josh Shapiro each earn 7 percent.
