Van Gogh Museum Employees Suspended Over Pokémon Exhibition Misconduct

Four employees of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam have been suspended for misconduct related to the museum's Pokémon exhibition.
The employees allegedly provided insider information to potential visitors on how to get limited tickets to the exhibition and one employee is accused of embezzling a box of Pokémon cards produced for the show.
The exhibition, which ran from September last year to January this year, featured Van Gogh-style Pokémon paintings and special Pikachu cards that became highly sought-after collector's items.
The distribution of the Pikachu cards was discontinued in October due to safety and security concerns after they caused riots.
The identities of the suspended employees have not been disclosed, but one of them had been working at the museum for 25 years.
