Van de Beek Loaned to Eintracht Frankfurt for Rest of Season
The Bundesliga side covers majority of Van de Beek's wages with an option to buy at the end of the loan period.
- Manchester United's midfielder Donny van de Beek has joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan for the rest of the 2023-24 season.
- Van de Beek has struggled to establish himself at United since his £40m move from Ajax in 2020, making only 62 appearances in all competitions for the Old Trafford side.
- The Dutch international has made only two Premier League starts for United since returning from a loan spell at Everton in 2022.
- Eintracht Frankfurt are currently sixth in the Bundesliga and face a UEFA Europa Conference League play-off with Union Saint-Gilloise of Belgium in February.
- As part of the loan deal, Eintracht are paying United a loan fee and covering the majority of Van de Beek’s wages, with an €11million (£9.55m, $12.2m) option to buy, and a possible €3m in add-ons.
