The track, produced by Ezra Koenig and Ariel Rechtshaid, features an orchestral arrangement and explores themes of change and historical cruelty.
An accompanying music video, directed by Nick Harwood, showcases the band against a backdrop of classical paintings and European street scenes.
In addition to the new single, Vampire Weekend has launched a new podcast, 'Vampire Campfire', and announced a North American tour starting in April.
The band's fifth LP marks their first album in five years, following 2019's 'Father Of The Bride'.
