Overview
- City officials published the first‑week schedule: Sept 1 La Torre (Plaça de l’Església, 10:00–14:00 and 17:00–20:00), Sept 2 Forn d’Alcedo (Plaça del Riu Segura, 17:00–20:30), Sept 3 Pinedo (Plaça del Poble, 10:00–14:00), Sept 4 El Perellonet (Grup del Marqués de Vallterra, 10:00–14:00), and Sept 5 Castellar‑l’Oliveral (Mercat Municipal, 09:00–14:00).
- The rollout will reach 25 neighborhoods and all pedanías, with September–October training scheduled for roughly 50 schools and more than 60 social entities.
- Information tents will be installed in markets and public squares to explain dates and locations, with registrations handled via the municipal site https://www.valencia.es/cas/massegura/.
- Sessions offer practical guidance on what to do before, during and after emergencies, describe a basic family emergency kit, and tailor workshops for schools, older adults, people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups.
- About 300 trained instructors will deliver the program, which the city promoted and the Universitat de València developed through the Càtedra Mesval with support from local police and the Universitat Popular.
